MDPI stays neutral with regard to jurisdictional claims in published maps and institutional affiliations. This study investigates the lessening effects of SOX on the association between executive compensation and cost of equity capital. As a result, we compare the different forecasting models to the chosen benchmarking model to confirm the improvement trends for the models predictions. Over the past years, cryptocurrencies have drawn substantial attention from the media while attracting many investors. Finally, the frequency domain Breitung and Candelon causality test is applied, and results show the evidence of insignificant causality between Bitcoin and EPU. Less able managers cannot manage resources efficiently and are more likely to retain resources than make costly adjustments. The findings indicate that days sales outstanding and shorter days inventory held are related to better financial performance while days payable outstanding had no observable effect. Statistical analyses demonstrate that the univariate GJR-GARCH model (1,1) shows a superior predictive accuracy at all horizons, followed closely by the TGARCH(1,1), which are the best models for modeling the volatility process on out-of-sample data and have more accurately indicated the asymmetric incidence of shocks in the cryptocurrency market. However, many economists and policymakers are concerned that a substantial number of American households are not well prepared for retirement.
